Real estate listing shoot checklist
Use this checklist for every listing shoot so nothing gets missed between booking and delivery. Copy it into your notes app or print it.
# Listing shoot checklist ## Before the shoot - [ ] Confirm address, access (keys, lockbox code, alarm) and who will be on site - [ ] Confirm the shot list and package with the agent (photos, twilight, drone, floor plan) - [ ] Send the seller a prep list: lights on, blinds open, counters cleared, cars out of the driveway - [ ] Check the weather and the sun position for exteriors; plan a twilight slot if booked - [ ] Charge batteries, clear cards, pack tripod, flash and a lens cloth ## On site - [ ] Walk the property once before shooting; note the best angle per room - [ ] Turn on every light, open blinds, hide bins, towels, cables and personal photos - [ ] Keep the camera level and verticals straight (tripod at about chest height) - [ ] Bracket exposures in rooms with bright windows - [ ] Shoot exteriors first or last depending on the light; repeat the hero shot - [ ] Capture details the agent asked for (appliances, view, garden, parking) - [ ] Leave the property as you found it; lock up and return keys ## After the shoot - [ ] Back up the cards before formatting them - [ ] Cull to the agreed number of photos - [ ] Edit: exposure, window pulls, sky, verticals, removals - [ ] Check every photo at full size before delivery - [ ] Deliver the gallery with a download link and your invoice - [ ] Log revisions and confirm the agent has what they need
